Well, I don’t have much to say because I will be home so soon. Sounds great about the homecoming talk, I will be sure to get something together.
I feel like I’ve had a great mission. I absolutely love it and I love the people here.
As far as eating on the way home, I don’t really care. I would like Cafe Rio, but if it’s a sitdown restaurant that you want then I don’t really care either. Maybe Ruby Tuesdays or something. I haven’t had a real steak forever!
I will be sure to try and call you guys when I get to the airport in Dallas. Of course, I don’t know our home number so we will see if I call or not. If not I will see you at 5 on Thursday then! Love you guys a lot! Thanks for all the support! See you Thursday!

Sounds great about [my homecoming] talk, I’m sure it won’t be too hard at all. The list of things I’ve learned here on the mission is getting pretty large, so I’ll only share a couple of those for my homecoming talk.
Things are going great here. We put a baptismal date with Otto but then he called and said that his Dad and friends got mad at him. Then we couldn’t get a hold of him all week. So we will see what happens. We are going to see him tonight. He says he wants to get baptized before I leave but this is my last week. Literally. So hopefully he pulls through and makes the decision.
I feel pretty good about my mission, especially for the companions I had and the areas I had. I’m excited to come home and to start my life. I was thinking about it the other day and I remembered how much changes in two years back home, even though two years here feels so short.
My final interview is this Sunday, and then I will talk to you guys for the last time on Monday, and then I will see you that Thursday I guess! Hey, I have a question, have you talked to the stake president? I would like to get released before getting home. I want the stress to leave. I’m all stressed out haha.
Well, that’s all I have to say I guess. There isn’t much else to say. So I’m pretty excited to see you all! Have a safe week!
Things are going great. We had a baptism on Mom’s birthday! So happy birthday Mom!
Here’s a picture of the baptism. It was excellent. Gregory is a great guy. I’m sure he will go on a mission someday.
Things are going great, we are still working with Otto who is being a little bit more difficult for the situation with his Dad. But I’m confident that he will join the church if not now, after I leave. I’m rapidly realizing that I’m not going to be here anymore. We need to come back to visit sometime. We’ll go to Tikal and Lake Atitlan and everything. It will be sweet!
Hey what is my topic for my homecoming? Mothers day? haha I’m going to prepare it now so that I don’t have to worry about it when I get home.
Alright! Love you guys a lot! Have a great day!
Hey guys! How’s everything going!
I’m doing great! I’m feeling a lot better, and time is flying by.
This week we have baptisms! I’m super excited!
Gregory received an answer to his prayers. He knows the church is true and he wants to be baptized this Friday at 6 p.m. All of Gregory’s family are Evangelicals. So when he told them he was going to get baptized at a family get together, they started saying awful things about him and about the Church. And so he just stood up, told them all that he knew it was the right thing to do and that he’d recieved an answer to his prayers, and then walked out. He dropped a lot of his friends as well that began to say bad things about the Church. He’s made significant changes. It’s wonderful!
Also, Otoniel and Nancy may be baptized this Friday as well. They have been praying to find out an answer and they have said that they’ve recieved it. So we are having a family home evening tonight to make sure they are ready. We’ve invited President to the baptism. I hope he comes. These look like they will be the last baptisms of my mission. Seeing as I only have three Sundays left here.
I don’t have any pictures for this week! Sorry.
So I have a question? What is my homecoming talk on? Can I get a subject? And it’s going to be that Sunday I get home right? Because I want to get it out of the way. Plus, I want to start preparing here in the mission. If you guys could get me that information, that would be fantastic!
[Elder Bryce's Homecoming talk will be in the Highland 36th Ward on May 13 at 11:00 a.m. Address: 6411 W 11800 N, Highland UT]
Alright well, not much else to say!
Love you all! Have a great week!
Things went super slow this last week. We did service for a family that went out of town for Semana Santa. Yeah, that was this week, and absolutely no one was home. It was horrible. I’m so excited to be able to get back to work now with our investigators.
We have baptismal dates for this Tuesday but it looks like they might be pushed to this Saturday. We have Family Home Evening with our investigators and the member family we are working with tonight, so we will see how that goes.
On Tuesday, we are taking an investigator to the temple so he can have a look around. We’ve done it before and it always has excellent results. I’m pretty excited for that.
I’m suprised to see how hard the end of my mission is. I have no idea why it’s so hard but I still get along great with my companion so that’s good.
Nothing too crazy happened this week. Sorry to be so boring but honestly nothing happened.
I have some business plans for Mom, Anna, Abby and Rex when I get home so we’ll see if they want some extra dough to spend. Because I do. haha.
I haven’t really been taking any pictures lately either because nothing big has been going on.
Hey, I gotta question, what does Mom have planned for me when I get home? I would like to know. Do you guys know when I fly in and everything? I don’t even know yet.
Alright, well have a fun week unpacking!
Love you all a ton!
